Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection.

We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.

Join Epiphany

Become a member through Green Light. At Green Light, you’ll learn more about what it looks like to get started at Epiphany. You’ll find your lane where you can use your gifts, experiences, and passions to make a difference. Led by Pastor Derrick and Lady Atyia, this two-hour workshop happens on the first Sunday of every month.

Serve with a Wonder Team

We believe that serving is the height of spiritual growth. Our Wonder Teams create an environment where people can take steps towards pursuing an others-focused life. After you “Growth Track,” Epiphany members will learn more about what it looks like to be part of Epiphany Church and how they can use their gifts, experiences, and passions to make a difference through serving on the WONDER Team.

 

Plug into E-Groups

E-Groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together.

We believe God created us to live woven and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why community groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.

  • Loving the Word (North Wilmington) | Mondays 7:30 - 9 PM | We will spend time reflecting on Sunday’s message and more deeply applying it to our lives.

  • Wondrous Women | Wednesdays 6:30 - 8 PM | We’ll be going through a study called Breaking Free.

  • Loving the Word (Newark) | Thursdays 6:30 - 8 PM | We will spend time reflecting on Sunday’s message and more deeply applying it to our lives.

  • Workmen | Saturdays 8 - 9 AM | This group will be walking through a curriculum titled Man 2 Man.

Through POTENTIAL, a twelve-month, hands-on leadership intensive, we help emerging leaders steward their potential and become everything God designed them to be.

We’re partnering with SENT Network to offer leaders top-quality academic instruction, ministry training, character formation, and spiritual development.
