Welcome to the Epiphany Blog: Where Real Life Meets Real Faith
Whether you're searching, skeptical, seasoned, or scholarly — welcome. This blog is for you.
At Epiphany Church in Wilmington, DE, we believe that everyone needs an epiphany—a personal realization of God’s grace, power, and presence. And while we love what happens in our Sunday gatherings, we know that faith can’t be confined to a building or a sermon. That’s why we’re launching something new: a blog created for your everyday life, with stories and scripture that meet you right where you are.
Why This Blog Exists
This blog is one more way we’re living out our mission: to help people come to know God through Loving the Word, Living Woven, Learning Worship, and Leveraging their Work for good. It’s about transformation, not just information. It’s about making space for curiosity, questions, and Christ-centered conversation, especially for where you are:
You’re exploring faith, wondering if church is for you. Here, you’ll find authentic stories and gentle invitations into something deeper — no pressure, just presence.
You’ve been hurt, maybe even by the church. We’re not here to sugarcoat it. Through posts on healing, reconciliation, and real conflict, we want to walk with you as you rediscover hope.
You’ve read the books, heard the sermons, but maybe the fire’s faded. These posts will challenge and encourage you to let your head knowledge meet heart transformation and hands-on service.
You’re longing for something more — more depth, more impact, more Jesus. This blog will push you to teach, lead, and grow with us in fresh, vibrant ways.
What You Can Expect
Regularly — no promises on frequency yet 😊 — we’ll publish articles that align with our mission and your season of life. Here’s a taste of what’s coming:
Real-life testimonies of how God is moving right here in Wilmington
Deep dives into scripture and theology that make sense in today’s world
Behind-the-scenes insights from Epiphany sermons and community moments
Encouragement and equipping for your spiritual growth, leadership, and relationships
And yes — it’ll be honest, neighborly, educational, and bold. We’ll laugh sometimes. We’ll cry sometimes. We’ll learn a lot. But through it all, we’ll pursue Jesus together.
This Is Your Invitation
If you’re already part of Epiphany, consider this an extension of what God is doing in our community. If you’re new or just passing through, we’re honored you’d stop by. And if you’ve been burned before — we hope this space helps begin a different kind of story.
Let’s grow together. Let’s think deeply. Let’s live woven. And let’s make Wilmington a little more like Mercytown.
See you in the comments — and at 301 N. Union Street on Sunday.
