Easter - 7 Days of Prayer

  • Epiphany Church Wilmington, Inc. 301 N. Union Street Wilmington, DE 19805 United States (map)

Easter is more than a celebration — it’s a moment.

Across Wilmington and beyond, people are more open to God during this season than almost any other time of year. Questions surface. Hearts soften. Invitations are considered. Hope feels possible.

As a church family, we don’t want to walk into Easter casually. We want to walk in prepared.

That’s why we’re committing to 7 Days of Prayer during Holy Week — setting aside intentional time to seek God, intercede for our city, and ask Him to move powerfully in and through our Easter gatherings.

Why We Pray Before Easter

Before Jesus went to the cross, He prayed. Before the early church moved in power, they prayed. Before revival moments throughout history, God’s people prayed.

We believe:

  • God moves where His people seek Him.

  • Easter isn’t about production — it’s about transformation.

  • The harvest is ready, and prayer prepares the ground.

This week, we’re praying for:

  • Friends and family who are far from God

  • Those returning after seasons of church hurt

  • Gen Z and young adults who are spiritually curious

  • Salvations and renewed faith

  • Our city to experience hope and healing

How to Participate

1. Commit to daily personal prayer.
Set aside time each day of Holy Week to pray intentionally.

2. Join corporate prayer opportunities.
We'll gather at 7 AM on Zoom here.

3. Make a prayer list.
Write down 3–5 names of people you’re believing will encounter Jesus this Easter.

4. Invite boldly.
Prayer fuels courage. Don’t just pray — invite.

What We’re Believing For

We’re believing that Easter won’t just be attended — it will be life-changing. That prodigals will come home. That skeptics will find belonging. That hearts will soften. That Jesus will be lifted high.

If You’re Visiting This Page…

Maybe you landed here out of curiosity. Maybe someone shared it with you. Maybe you’re exploring faith. We’re praying for you. Even if we don’t know your name yet.

We’re praying for:

  • Your questions

  • Your healing

  • Your peace

  • Your clarity

  • Your next step

Easter is a season of new beginnings. If you’re searching, wondering, or quietly hoping for something more — you’re not alone. If you’d like someone to pray specifically for you, you can text “prayer” to (302) 303-2350. We would be honored to pray.
