We’re so glad you’re here. At Epiphany, we believe church isn’t just a place you attend — it’s a family you belong to.


Membership is one way we live that out. Below, you’ll find answers to common questions about becoming a member at Epiphany Wilmington.

 
Register for Greenlight

  • Membership at Epiphany is more than putting your name on a list — it’s a commitment to walk together as a spiritual family.


    It means you’re saying, “This is my church. These are my people. I’m all in.” And it means we, as a church, commit to love, cover, equip, and walk with you.

  • Membership matters because it’s about:

    • Belonging — knowing you have a spiritual home

    • Covering — having pastors and leaders who pray for and guide you

    • Growth — being challenged and equipped to live out your faith

    • Purpose — using your God-given gifts to make a difference

    • Partnership — locking arms with others to see Wilmington transformed into Mercytown

    1. Attend Discover Epiphany (optional) — an open forum with Pastor Derrick where you can ask questions, hear our story, and get to know our heart.

    2. Go to Greenlight — our monthly membership experience, held the first Saturday of every month. Greenlight will:

      • Walk you through our beliefs and mission

      • Help you discover your spiritual gifts

      • Show you how to get connected and serve

    3. Sign the Membership Covenant — affirming your commitment to partner with Epiphany in living out the gospel together.

  • Not at all! Everyone is welcome at Epiphany — no strings attached.
    Membership is simply the next step if you want to go deeper in commitment, connection, and service.

  • We understand. Many of us, including our leaders, have been there.
    Membership at Epiphany is not about control — it’s about community. We’re committed to walking with you at your pace, helping you heal, and showing you what healthy church family can look like.

  • We ask our members to:

    • Attend gatherings regularly

    • Engage in community (small groups, serving teams)

    • Give faithfully, as you’re able

    • Pray for and encourage one another

    • Live a life that reflects the gospel
